 Sometimes, we forget that we are professionals when dealing with our parents.   We defer to their wisdom and honor them as our superior.  Remember you are the smartest one in the room.  

When I started my new career at age 47, I remember one of my good friends asking me the question: "What are you going to do next?" That terrified me because I thought I had achieved a significant milestone. I couldn't conceive of doing anythimg more. However, the more I thought about it, I realized that I still had more to give.
