Keeping a problem about your case a secret 04/01 by Tony Reeves - JD MPH BS | Social Networking

If you are paying for an attorney or if you are worried that your attorney may drop your case, you may make the calculated decision to keep a problem about your case to yourself.  This presents a number of problems.  First, you run the risk of your attorney finding out on their own and being upset with you for NOT sharing this information.  Second, the longer you keep this information to yourself, the more harmful the information may become.  Third, by not dealing with the problem early, you may lose the ability to deal with it later.  Finally, the problem may not be as bad as it seems but may become bad because you chose to not share.

Keeping a problem you know that may hurt your case to yourself is a potentially dangerous position.
